The Bengal is a hybrid breed of cat, that was developed to have all the friendly qualities of a domestic cat. While also exhibiting "wild" markings such as large spots, rosettes, and a light colored belly.

The face of a Bengal contains a series of distinct horizontal stripes, known as "mascara", which stretch from the eye all the way to the back of the neck. The sides of the bengal are usually marked with different sized spots.

Bengals can have a spotted or marbled coat. Spots with at least two colors present are called rosettes. Both types of bengals are equally adorable. They make a great addition to any family.
